Seaview, lap size
The quilt top that came out of a five-day retreat in Bad Waldsee, Nov. 2007. I used a photo of one of our Vacations to New Zealand as a basis for this quilt - a view out to sea from a stony shore. The pattern I used is kaleidoscope. It took me 3 days to cut and lay the 560 pieces of this quilt, and two more days to sew it. Roughly 60 different fabrics were used. Machine-sewn and hand-quilted.
