Four patch with grids all over - rose, purple and white bed quilt, twin size
This is my first bed-size quilt. I had just discovered a quilt store in the area and bought my first American fabric there (the dark purple with little light flower blossoms on it), and my first quilting stencils. We've been heavily using this quilt over the years, and in one of the washes, it somehow got stains on it as well (I think a blue sock was left in the machine from a previous wash). After having another one of my fits, I washed the quilt two times with bleach, which made all of the spots come out, plus a lot of the colors of the fabric, of course. Now, the quilt has a decidedly antique look (the picture was taken before the catastrophe occurred...)
Machine-pieced and hand-quilted.
